For our Halifax based trips, all en route accommodations are included in the pricing except Halifax and therefore each traveler is responsible for booking their accommodations in Halifax.
Q: Do I have to book the activities?
A: No. Our guides will ask you which ones you’d like to participate in and help you get set up with them. Pay only for the ones in which you wish to participate.

Activities with our Halifax based trips include whale watching, kayaking, sailing, biking and walking/hiking.
Q: Are there cheap group meals or can I cook for myself?
A: Both! All our accommodations are equipped with full kitchens, which you are welcome to use. We also promote picnic style lunches when the weather cooperates or you may choose to go eat at a local restaurant or café on your own schedule.
Q: What is the weather like? Do I need my fur-lined underwear?
A: You can definitely bring them, but summers are warm on the East Coast. Humidity is low and temperatures range from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
For example, because you'll be hiking and whale watching in the same day, we recommend layers. The weather changes, so change with it! Bring your swimmers, flip flops and a pair of hiking shoes.
Q: What are the buses like?
A: Safe & Sexy! We travel in comfortable, clean 15 passenger buses that are insured and inspected according to the highest provincial and national standard. |
